Can I pay in Peruvian soles? Yes, we accept payment in soles at the exchange rate of the day. However, our prices are expressed in dollars because permits and several services are charged in this currency.
Do you accept credit cards? Yes, we accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. A 5% surcharge applies for processing fees. To avoid this charge, you can pay by bank transfer or cash.
Does the price include Inca Trail permits? Yes, all our prices include the official Inca Trail permit and entrance to Machu Picchu. There are no hidden permit costs.
Are there any hidden costs I should know about? No. The only additional expenses are: tips (optional), last day lunch (except Summit 2 Days), optional entrances to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain, and equipment rentals in the Explorer segment (sleeping bag, mattress, poles).
Why do prices vary between seasons? The 2027 prices reflect the annual increase in permit costs, fuel, team salaries and services. Booking for 2026 before the season change guarantees you current prices.
Are there discounts for large groups? For groups of 6 or more people, contact us directly for a personalized quote with possible additional benefits.
Do children pay full price? Children pay the same price as adults, as they require the same permit, space and services. Minors under 18 qualify for the student discount ($30 USD less in Explorer and Adventure).
Is it worth paying more for Adventure or Summit? Explorer vs Adventure: The difference of approximately $105 USD (4 days) gives you smaller groups (10 vs 16), significantly better camping equipment, poles and mattress included, and improved food. For most travelers, the upgrade is worth it.
Adventure vs Summit: The difference of approximately $550 USD gives you ultra-small groups of 6 people, a dedicated chef, individual tent, private bathroom, champagne, post-trek massage, Vistadome train and many luxury extras. Ideal for special occasions.
